Recently, Mary started sharing her powerful lyrics and pleasing melodies at schools in Edmonton and surrounding areas, hoping to reach young people with a positive and uplifting message. She has also been working to promote stewardship by performing a series of concerts within her local faith community.

Mary’s debut CD entitled "
takin’ time" was released in May 2003, and has since received glowing reviews. She passionately wrote all 16 songs on the CD, which has been described by listeners as a compilation of profoundly moving tunes that provide hope, comfort and inspiration to all those who hear it.

Throughout her musical endeavours, Mary remains fiercely committed to her faith, her family and her community. She currently lives near Riviere Qui Barre with her husband Ed, who is a farmer, and their four children. Mary believes we are all called to share our time, talents and treasure in order to serve our Lord, family, friends and community. Her fun loving, warm heart instills the message that we don’t have to be perfect to make positive changes in the world around us.

Although this entire musical experience has been an unexpected one, Mary has described this time as "an exciting, amazing and, at times, overwhelming creative and spiritual journey. Life has an interesting way of unfolding when we use our gifts and talents and place our trust in God," Mary says.
